The Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Joint Nephrology Fellowship accepts applications through the AAMC Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). Interested applicants should submit their application through ERAS when the application cycle opens on July 1st. We strongly recommend that applicants complete the ERAS application process as early as possible as this will facilitate timely review and interview scheduling.
Outstanding candidates will be invited for a one-day visit and interview at BWH and MGH in September/October. Applicants are encouraged to review research faculty profiles prior to their interviews to identify potential faculty mentors with similar research interests with whom they might like to meet. We do sponsor H-1B or J-1 visas for exceptional fellowship candidates.
We will be participating in the Nephrology Fellowship Match using the NRMP system and its match schedule. Match Day for fellows beginning July of any given year will be in December of the previous year.
